Directions:

  1. On approaching Penzance, at the roundabout just past the Heliport and adjacent to Tescos, take the second turn signed posted Lands End/A30 to avoid the town centre.
  2. You will cross three more major roundabouts as you skirt around the edge of town. At the third roundabout (Mount Misery) turn left (signposted ‘Newlyn Art Gallery/Seafront’).
  3. Continue 800 metres until you reach a mini-roundabout then turn right (sign posted ‘Seafront’) – you will have just entered Alexandra Road.
  4. Proceed 100 metres and seek a place to park. Elmsdale is the 3rd house in a terrace of fine Victorian town houses on the left hand side of the street. You can park outside the property or in Hawkins Road (left turn) or Alexandra Gardens (right turn).

    The AA Route Planner and Multimap correctly show the location of Elmsdale if you enter the post code TR18 4LZ but may direct you through the centre of the Town or along the seafront. If driving along the seafront then Alexandra Road is a right turn at the mini roundabout at the end of the seafront. The Beachfield Hotel is a landmark at the end of Alexandra Road.

    If you find yourself in Newlyn then you have overshot.
